Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks a Trailer Mechanic at our Joliet, IL location to diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, and tank trailer systems. Expect hands-on work on tank service, trailer suspension, and air brake systems with opportunities to learn MIG/TIG welding on various metals.

The position offers Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm shifts, a pay range of $19.00–$36.00 per hour based on experience, and benefits including insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, holidays,

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical repair on tank trailers and related systems.
• Ability to diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical components.
• Hands-on experience with tank service, trailer suspension work, and air brake systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and routine maintenance on tank trailers.
• Diagnose problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Assist with welding and fabrication tasks as needed and learn welding on aluminum, stainless, or carbon steel.
