Matrix Service Company is seeking a Tank and Specialty Vessel Welder to perform welding and grinding per job specifications, select equipment, and plan layout and assembly. You will work closely with supervision and maintain strict accuracy standards while traveling to project sites as needed.

The role requires passing specialized weld tests and reading prints, with a focus on quality, safety, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Must pass tank and specialty vessel weld tests including FCAW and SMAW per test panels.
• Must read prints and follow written instructions and welding procedures.
• Maintain a 95-100% pass rate on weld X-ray/visual exams.

Responsabilités

• Efficiently produce quality welds.
• Perform or assist with fit-up and preparation of welds.
• Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection, and repair.
• Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman regarding job-site issues.
• Comply with safety policies and programs.
