Matrix Service Company is seeking a Tank and Specialty Vessel Welder (AGW / 3 O'clock welder) to perform welding and grinding per job specifications, select equipment, plan layouts, and work with supervision to meet exacting standards.

Qualified candidates will complete weld tests (FCAW 2G/3G/4G, SMAW E6010 3G/Downhill, SMAW E7018 2G/3G/4G, and 9% Nickel Plate tests) and maintain a 95–100% pass rate, read prints, and follow welding procedures. Willingness to travel and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Tank Building experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening.
• Must possess or pass Basic Safety Council Class Courses.
• Must complete Matrix Service Basic Safety training and site-specific training.
• Must possess a valid TWIC card.
• Site may require fire retardant clothing.
• Maintain clean shaven for respirator seal. (Site Specific)
• Willing to travel/relocate.
• Willing to work frequent overtime.
