ARG PETRO in the United States is seeking a Tank Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role supports tank-related field operations, including inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and fabrication activities of tank systems.

You will work in industrial environments, performing hands-on tasks, wiring, plumbing, and control-system work, while adhering to safety policies. Physical stamina and confinement-space tolerance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces and physically demanding environments.
• Comfortable performing hands-on, dirty work.
• Background in underground or aboveground storage tanks installations is preferred.
• Confined space or other OSHA certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of the hazardous waste and fueling industry.
• Previous tank maintenance experience or mechanical background.
• Knowledge of card reading and control systems.
• Plumbing experience.
• Minor electrical wiring knowledge.
• Oil field background a plus.
• Basic understanding of tank set up, pump repairs and metering systems associated with fuel/lube industry.
• Experienced in wiring and program fuel control systems.

Position Overview:

The Tank Maintenance Technician supports tank‑related field operations, including inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and fabrication activities of all tank related operations. Repair and programming of card reading and electronic control systems, minor electrical wiring, repair and installation of plumbing and piping. This role involves physically demanding work in industrial and confined‑space environments while adhering to all company safety, health, and environmental policies.

• Assist with tank‑related shop/field work including inspections, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Support general construction activities as required.
• Perform work in confined spaces and industrial environments.

Requirements:
