Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Repacker to support the Tank Farm operations. You will mix, package and inventory company products, assist in shipping/receiving, load/unload trucks, and help maintain the Tank Farm facility.

You may also participate in emergency response and ensure hazardous materials handling complies with company procedures. The role requires knowledge of cGMP, forklift operation, and the ability to handle hazardous wastes with proper protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cGMP requirements related to FDARP for the facility.
• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to procedures.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and packages Company products, maintains inventory levels and assists in shipping and receiving products and materials in the Tank Farm
• Perform manual Tank Farm duties as assigned or directed
• Load and unload company trucks, common carriers and Rail Cars.
• Ship and receive products according to company's procedures and requirements
• Assist in the maintenance of the Tank Farm facility
• Serve on company's in-plant or off-site emergency response team
• Place hazardous materials or waste into appropriate containers
• Receive, unload and place into storage hazardous waste received from onsite generated waste complete inspections and paperwork associated with receiving and storing hazardous waste
• Properly manage hazardous waste while inside container storage area or otherwise under company responsibility or control
• Cleans and maintains Tank Farm and equipment
• Perform all other duties as required
• Comply with all company policies, rules and guidelines.
