Job summary

Univar Solutions is hiring for a tank farm operations role at our Denver location. The position involves efficient operation of tank farm facilities, shipping and receiving bulk chemicals, and adherence to hazardous materials handling regulations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with additional schooling or equivalent experience. The base wage is $30.25 per hour, with benefits including health, retirement, paid holidays, and paid time away under the applicable CBA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with additional schooling or equivalent business experience.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving of bulk chemicals in the tank farm; prompt and accurate filling, packing, and shipping of orders.
• Ensures compliance with all State and Federal labeling and shipping laws and regulations on merchandise shipped from warehouse.
• Inspects and checks tank farm equipment and facilities to ensure all equipment is in good operating condition.
• Maintains and protects warehouse stocks, supplies, and equipment.
• Handles, blends, and pumps hazardous chemicals outdoors.
• Transfers hazardous chemicals from railcar to tank and from tank to trailer.
• Packages totes and drums with product.
• Drives hostler in the yard to move bulk trailers.
• Escalates issues to Warehouse or Operations Manager as needed.
