Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Material Handler in Toledo, OH to ensure efficient operation of the tank farm facilities and accurate shipping/receiving of bulk chemicals. You will support labeling compliance and equipment inspections, while maintaining stock and housekeeping across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Operate a terminal tractor (yard mule).
• Operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift per procedures.
• Know cGMP requirements related to FDARP procedures.
• Learn and use respiratory protection equipment as needed.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and follow training.
• Must lift and carry at least 100 pounds and stand/walk long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient operation of tank farm facilities.
• Ship and receive bulk chemicals; fill, pack and ship orders.
• Ensure compliance with labeling and shipping laws.
• Inspect tank farm equipment and facilities for proper operation.
• Maintain and protect warehouse stocks, supplies, and equipment.
• Perform monthly fire control system inspections.
• Maintain stock and clean aisles and floors.
• Prepare monthly lists of containers, pallets, and unusable materials.
• Coordinate with warehouses and managers on operations.
• Complete inspections and paperwork for hazardous waste generation and transport.
