Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) in Nashville, TN, is hiring a full-time Skilled Laborer Apprentice to join our nationwide metal storage tank construction team. You will work on above-ground tanks, learn safety procedures, and gain hands-on experience with field installation and maintenance.

This apprentice position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs;

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass background checks.
• Able to lift 50 lbs as part of job duties.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Welding ability is a plus and welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks on above-ground storage tank seal, dome installation, inspection and repair.
• Assist in non-welded tank apparatus installation, inspection and repair.
• Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment on site.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and inventorying materials.
• Maintain a clean and orderly job site and document work performed.
• Support in ongoing safety training and site-specific requirements.
