Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is a specialized tank construction company focused on complex, fast-paced tank repair projects nationwide. We handle unique technical challenges on various tanks, adhering to standards like API 650, API 653, AWWA D100, and others.

Our services include building and repairing welded above-ground storage tanks (ASTs), bolted tanks, and related structures. We also inspect, install, and repair tank systems such as aluminum geodesic dome covers, internal floating roofs (IFRs), seals, liquid level gauges, fire protection systems, and more.

Day to Day Duties:

• Perform arc and torch cutting, gouging.
• Operate generators, compressors, grinders, and other tools.
• Weld using various techniques and electrodes.
• Utilize lifting and specialty equipment.
• Conduct non-destructive testing and safety checks.
• Operate forklifts, lifts, and understand crane operations.
• Read and interpret detailed drawings.
• Plan and execute tank fabrication and repairs.
• Complete safety analyses and training.
• Work professionally and collaboratively.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and system improvement suggestions.
• Punctuality and excellent attendance.
• Willingness to learn.
• Minimum age 18, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the U.S., with valid driver’s license.
• Background checks and drug testing willingness.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; welding skills a plus.
