Job summary

KRA Corporation in Washington, DC, is seeking a compassionate Career Agent to provide TANF case-management and career guidance. You will empower individuals to achieve employment goals through personalized support, job-readiness training, and barriers removal, with travel expected up to 20%.

This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. You will facilitate intake, IRP development, and coordination of services to help customers find and retain employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or eight years of professional work experience.
• Minimum of two years in a case management and/or eligibility environment.
• Experience or familiarity with TANF rules and regulations preferred.
• Experience working with adults in the workforce system and those disconnected from employment services.

Responsibilities

• Provide TANF case-management and career counseling to customers.
• Complete intake and eligibility determinations and assess needs and abilities.
• Coordinate services and track progress toward employment.
• Document case notes and ensure compliance in the CATCH system.
• Counsel on local labor market and available opportunities; refer customers to services.
• Maintain accurate case files with required eligibility documents.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and teamwork.
• Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and job clubs.
• Meet or exceed contractual benchmarks and prepare required reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
