Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. is seeking a Data Labeling Associate for Project Perseus, focusing on Tamil-language data. This is not a traditional annotation role; you will evaluate AI outputs and provide structured feedback while working onsite in multiple US locations.

You will contribute to QA data quality, model evaluation, and human judgment, collaborating with teammates and stakeholders. Requirements include native Tamil, strong English, and 1–2 years of writing experience.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Tamil and a university degree.
• B2 or superior level of English.
• 1–2 years of professional writing experience with strong, structured writing skills.
• Ability to apply complex writing rules and guidelines consistently.
• 2+ years of experience related to GenAI data safety or quality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag gaps reflecting real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks beyond execution.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, actionable way.
