Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Bartender for Hilton Garden Inn Austin Airport in Austin, TX. You will mix, pour, and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per guest preferences, while maintaining bar cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include fast-paced service, cash handling, and using POS systems. A friendly, professional demeanor and TIPS certification or plan to obtain it within 30 days are preferred to ensure top-notch guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a food and beverage role is preferred.
• Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
• Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of alcohol safety regulations with TIPS certification or obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Mix, pour, and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Set up and stock the bar with beverages, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and comply with health standards.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible beverage guidelines.
• Interact with guests professionally and provide prompt service.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Restock bar supplies as needed and manage cash handling per outlet procedures.
• Assist with inventory and report shortages to the Bar Manager.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and secure stock.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints to ensure a positive experience.
