Job summary
Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a Director of Talent Systems in Chicago to lead the evolution of our HCM ecosystem and drive a major enterprise-wide transformation. You will partner across HR, IT, Finance and business leadership to deliver scalable, compliant solutions and an excellent employee experience throughout the talent lifecycle.
The role requires 15+ years in HRIS/HR tech, hands-on leadership of HCM implementations (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), and a proven ability to mentor
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in HRIS/HR technology/HR operations.
- Proven success leading enterprise-wide HCM implementations (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar).
Responsibilities
- Lead a large-scale HCM transformation from planning to post-go-live stabilization.
- Mentor HRIS and HR operations teams and advise senior leaders on transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance and external vendors to align technology with priorities.
- Develop governance structures, roadmaps, release management, and risk mitigation.
- Own the HR technology roadmap, prioritizing enhancements and ensuring reliability.
- Guide talent data governance, integrations, reporting and analytics.
- Identify opportunities to automate and use AI to shift focus to strategic work.
- Improve HR operations through governance and process optimization.
