Job summary

National Safety Apparel is seeking a Talent Specialist to drive hourly recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations. You will manage end-to-end recruiting for plant and hourly roles while partnering with staffing agencies and community organizations to build a strong talent pipeline.

You will coordinate onboarding activities, maintain records, and support employee recognition and leave management. The role requires 2+ years in recruiting/HR and a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is required.
• 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Talent Specialist to spearhead hourly recruiting efforts, foster employee engagement, and support seamless HR operations. As a Talent Specialist, you will lead recruitment initiatives for plant and hourly positions, build vital partnerships with staffing agencies and community organizations, manage talent pipelines, and coordinate onboarding activities that inspire new hires. You'll also support HR functions such as employee record maintenance, leave management, and employee recognition efforts. Your proactive approach will help attract, develop, and retain top talent, creating a productive and engaging workplace culture.

• Four days onsite in the Brook Park-Cleveland area, one day WFH
• $22/hr plus, based on experience
• 8:30am-5pm, Monday - Friday with some flexibility in start/end time

Required Skills

• Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, especially for hourly and skilled trades positions
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with staffing agencies, community organizations, and potential candidates
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems, and candidate tracking tools
• Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and work independently within tight deadlines
• Knowledge of onboarding and HR compliance processes

Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
