E2 Optics in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a recruiter to support contract staffing across construction, industrial and manufacturing environments. You will screen contractor workers submitted by agencies, and partner with hiring managers to fill immediate needs.

The role requires 2+ years in recruiting, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel as needed. E2 Optics offers competitive pay, growth opportunities, and a collaborative, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience.
• Experience working with staffing or contingent agencies a plus.
• Experience recruiting in construction, industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and screen contractor workers submitted by agencies.
• Partner with hiring managers on contract worker hiring needs.
• Communicate offers to agencies for selected contract workers.
• Ensure correct markup rates are submitted.
• Work closely with agencies to ensure they are meeting the role requirements.
• Oversee contract worker onboarding with the agencies and ensure all requirements are met.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with the hiring managers and agencies.
• Maintain accurate and current applicant database.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces.
