Job summary

University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a Program Coordinator in Project REACH to support Talent Search activities for 175–200 students. You will manage data, collaborate with TRIO and Early College staff, promote events, and report on program participation and outcomes.

You will facilitate workshops, advise on financial aid and college admissions, and partner with university offices to coordinate recruitment and services across programs, ensuring student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area.
• 3–5 years of experience in a secondary school or post-secondary setting.
• Ability to work effectively with low-income, first-generation students.
• Knowledge of postsecondary financial aid processes and advising.
• Ability to conduct workshops or training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Manage student records for two Talent Search grants in program databases and ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with the Director of Programs and senior staff to improve data management and reporting processes.
• Maintain cumulative participant records for APR and federal audits.
• Assist with completing APR and other department data reports.
• Plan and implement academic, college, and career field trips and activities with the team.
• Recruit and manage a caseload of 175–200 students; deliver workshops on financial aid, campus visits, choosing majors, and applications.
