A leading automotive solutions company in Shorter, Alabama is seeking a Talent Management professional to lead the recruitment of top technical talent. You will manage the full recruitment life cycle, partner with engineering leaders, and utilize data to optimize hiring metrics. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in automotive or manufacturing settings, strong technical acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills. A BS in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering is required.

Job description

As a Talent Management at Hanon Systems, you will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and hiring top technical talent to support our advanced automotive programs. You’ll partner with global engineering and technical leaders to understand hiring needs and bring in the best candidates who align with our mission of delivering sustainable mobility solutions.

This is a strategic, high-impact role ideal for a recruiting professional with experience in automotive or manufacturing environments who thrives in a fast-paced, globally integrated organization.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the full recruitment life cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing, and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with engineering and product leadership to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
  • Proactively build talent pipelines through sourcing strategies, networking, and creative outreach.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical roles including mechanical, electrical, thermal, and systems engineering, as well as R&D and technical project management.
  • Utilize a variety of channels to attract top technical talent.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, acting as the main point of contact from initial outreach through offer.
  • Use data to analyze pipeline health, hiring metrics, and performance, and report regularly to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior recruiters, sharing best practices and recruiting knowledge.
  • Collaborate with HR and People Ops teams to support broader initiatives such as employer branding, onboarding.
  • Stay current with industry trends and talent market dynamics to remain competitive in attracting talent.
Education
  • BS in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in automotive, manufacturing, or engineering-based industries.
  • Proven ability to fill engineering and technical roles in a high-volume or highly specialized environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts such as thermal systems, HVAC, e-mobility, and automotive electronics.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment CRMs.
  • Excellent sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Understanding of global hiring practices and labor market considerations.
