Job description

Boston, MA / Exton, PA / NYC, NY / Stamford, CT

As a key member of the Talent Management team, the Talent Management Program Manager will design, implement, and evolve strategic talent and capability‑building programs that support business performance, employee development, and organizational growth. Initially, this role will focus heavily on sales capability and enablement initiatives, partnering closely with business leaders to strengthen sales effectiveness, customer engagement practices, Salesforce adoption, and commercial capabilities.

This role will help drive a customer‑centric, growth‑oriented culture by delivering integrated learning and capability solutions that align people, processes, and technology. Over time, the role will expand to include broader ownership of talent management programs, including early‑career development initiatives, onboarding experiences, skills‑based talent strategies, and workforce capability development efforts.

Acting as both a strategic consultant and hands‑on program leader, this individual will translate business priorities into scalable learning, development, and talent solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Success in this role requires a combination of program management expertise, sales enablement experience, stakeholder partnership, change leadership, and operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing
Responsibilities
  • Design and execute sales capability and enablement initiatives that support organizational growth, strengthen customer engagement, and improve commercial effectiveness.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning and development solutions that improve sales performance, customer outcomes, and workforce readiness.
  • Lead capability‑building initiatives that support Salesforce adoption and utilization, ensuring employees effectively leverage Salesforce tools, data, workflows, and business processes.
  • Partner with business, operations, technology, and external partners to create integrated learning experiences that align sales processes, technology, and capability development into a seamless employee experience.
  • Develop and sustain a long‑term sales capability and culture strategy that advances the organization’s customer‑centric and growth‑oriented objectives, embedding consultative selling behaviors, commercial acumen, relationship management practices, and continuous capability development across the business.
  • Establish scalable sales learning and capability frameworks that support ongoing employee development, reinforce desired sales behaviors, and build organizational readiness for future business and market needs.
  • Design, launch, and manage talent development programs, including onboarding, early‑career initiatives, internal development programs, and other strategic capability‑building efforts.
  • Support AXA XL's skills‑based talent management strategy by identifying capability requirements, addressing skill gaps, and developing scalable pathways that prepare employees for future business needs.
  • Establish meaningful metrics and success measures to evaluate program effectiveness, adoption, capability growth, and business impact, while continuously improving solutions based on data, feedback, and evolving business priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent development, workforce readiness, capability‑building strategies, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability by adjusting priorities, learning strategies, and development programs in response to changing leadership needs, business objectives, and organizational priorities.

You will report to the Head of Talent Management, Americas.
