Job summary

James Hardie invites a motivated student to join our 12-week paid internship in Chicago, focused on enterprise talent and performance management. You will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with HR professionals, and contribute to program improvements while building relationships across the organization.

You will support annual talent processes, create dashboards, and help enhance the intern experience through mentorship, events, and feedback collection.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation in May 2029.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Available to work full-time for 12 weeks during summer 2027.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with performance management processes including goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews.
• Support talent review, succession planning, and talent metrics reporting.
• Coordinate Rise@Hardie program activities, evaluations, and feedback collection.
• Act as ambassador for the intern cohort and facilitate engagement across functions.
