Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus five years of related experience.
  • General knowledge of HR functions, including employment laws.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

  • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision on complex tasks.
  • Strong communication across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting processes to attract diverse faculty and staff; review candidates and oversee applications in Workday.
  • Manage personnel actions including onboarding, appointments, and compensation changes.
  • Promote inclusive culture in recruitment, hiring, and retention practices.
  • Maintain operating manuals and handbooks; implement improvements.
  • Audit payroll and data for accreditation; create systems and reports.
  • Develop engagement and professional development initiatives for faculty and staff.
  • Create and track metrics to measure personnel satisfaction and initiative progress.
  • Serve as a resource on policies and benefits for faculty and staff.
