Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General knowledge of HR functions, including employment laws and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Commitment to an inclusive environment and university values.
  • Ability to multitask with initiative and sound judgment.
  • Strong oral and written communication across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison to HR to execute recruiting processes and manage applications in Workday.
  • Support personnel actions including hiring, onboarding, and offboarding for faculty and staff.
  • Promote an inclusive culture in recruitment, hiring, and retention practices.
  • Maintain operating manuals and handbooks for SPS procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Audit payroll and data to ensure compliance and create reports for data needs.
  • Pursue professional development to support SPS faculty and staff as ambassadors for the school.
  • Create metrics to measure progress on personnel satisfaction and school initiatives.
  • Advise faculty and staff on standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes.
