Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment
  • Compile and maintain employee records including confidential and sensitive employee information
  • Complete background checks for all employees
  • Lead open enrollment and oversee benefit packages
  • Analyzes workforce data, staffing trends, employee relations issues, and organizational needs and develops recommendations
  • Guide instructional staff through the New York State certification process
  • Monitors compliance with federal and state employment laws, regulations, reporting requirements, Board policies, and administrative procedures
  • Assist with the implementation of wellness programs, benefits programs, employee engagement initiatives, and analyzing HR analytics
  • Assist with compliance related matters
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Chief Talent Officer

Skills & Qualifications
  • A graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program (required), with prior experience in a charter school environment (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources or Recruitment experience
  • A highly ethical professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • Ability to multitask works collaboratively and maintains focus in a fast-paced environment
Compensation

Salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Additionally, CPS offers a comprehensive benefits package. This is a twelve month, full-time, exempt position.
