This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys designing impactful training programs, developing future leaders, creating career pathways, and building a culture of continuous learning within a growing manufacturing organization.If you're energized by helping employees reach their full potential while improving organizational performance, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs our Talent Development Specialist, you'll serve as an internal consultant and strategic partner to leaders across the organization by:Designing and delivering engaging instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning training programsDeveloping leadership development programs for supervisors, managers, and emerging leadersCreating career pathways, competency models, and Individual Development Plans (IDPs)Facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding programsConducting training needs assessments and developing customized learning solutionsCreating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support operational excellenceSupporting succession planning and internal talent development initiativesDeveloping learning materials, videos, job aids, workbooks, and interactive training resourcesMonitoring training effectiveness and using data to continuously improve learning programsManaging compliance training including Safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF, Harassment Prevention, Ethics, and Company PoliciesMaintaining learning records and training documentation through PaycomPartnering with HR, Operations, Quality, Safety, and Production leaders to build organizational capabilityWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related fieldMinimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, Corporate Training, or Human ResourcesExperience designing and facilitating leadership development programsStrong instructional design and curriculum development experienceExperience creating eLearning content and utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS)Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and project management skillsAbility to build strong relationships and influence leaders at all levels of the organizationPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting manufacturing, food production, or industrial environmentsExperience developing competency models, career pathways, and succession planning initiativesKnowledge of adult learning principles, organizational development, coaching, change management, and learning analyticsWhy Ventura Coastal?At Ventura Coastal, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
