The Talent Development Specialist will design and implement employee programs in support of the BOND talent development framework to improve employee skills and knowledge. This position has an active role in shaping employee growth and development by assisting in the roll-out of talent practices across the organization including recruitment initiatives, training programs, performance management, and succession planning. The specialist will coordinate and manage project activities across the talent lifecycle, support employees with career advancement, and serve as the main contact for learning and development requests.

Working in close partnership with Human Resources and key stakeholders, this position will contribute to the BOND talent development strategy, create and manage employee programs to enhance workforce skills, and support marketing and communication efforts to promote a culture of continuous learning aligned with business goals. Using data to inform needs, the specialist will assist in addressing skill gaps, proactively suggest and implement process improvements, and evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs. This position is responsible for collaborating with the Talent Development Team to implement management and leadership development initiatives, business specific education initiatives, and other company wide programs.

Core Responsibilities:

Learning & Development

  • Assess training needs, develop programs to address gaps, and monitor progress.
  • Create and maintain training content and deliver training using various methods including classroom, virtual, and group activities.
  • Provide support for talent development initiatives and requests across functional units. Field and track requests in partnership with HR to ensure governance across organization.
  • Coordinate the logistics of training programs, including scheduling, venue selection, catering, materials preparation, and other training activities as assigned.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day technical and operational management of training assignments, campaigns, reporting, assessments, and other functions in MYBOND’s LMS.
  • Work cross-functionally to embed learning into the employee experience—from onboarding through advanced role transitions.
  • Implements and tracks compliance training.
  • Partners with the Senior Manager Talent Development to develop, facilitate, and support leadership development workshops/trainings.
  • Collaborate with business units across the organization to centralize and standardize coordination for alignment on all training initiatives.
  • Distribute, collect, and compile evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training.

Performance Management

  • Maintain and update the Talent Development calendar, career blueprints, and Sharepoint “intranet” site with relevant content.
  • Assist with the roll-out, scheduling and coordination of tasks in alignment with the performance review process.

Succession Planning

  • Maintain a list of potential successors for key leadership roles.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners on leadership roles, succession planning, and talent pipeline.
  • Track potential successors and talent in the Career Blueprint system using the talent card for data analytics.

Recruitment

  • Develop, implement and manage BONDs outreach strategies: this includes identifying target schools, creating promotional materials and designing recruitment campaigns.
  • Coordinate career fairs and campus visits.
  • Build relationships with college career services, establishing strong partnerships to facilitate recruitment efforts.
  • Establish and manage identifying top candidates for consideration for co-op/intern/FTE positions.
  • Partner with HR leadership to develop internship and co-op programs
  • Manage internship and co-op programs overseeing the programs to provide students with valuable work experience.
