The Strategic Talent Group (STG), housed within UFHR's Talent Acquisition and Onboarding unit, is a consultative team of expert talent acquisition professionals who serve as the university's internal executive search resource. Our team values diversity of perspectives, backgrounds, and talents. We are committed to fostering a respectful and supportive environment where every team member can thrive and contribute meaningfully.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver full-cycle talent acquisition services, including proactive sourcing of passive candidates, managing search logistics, developing evaluation criteria, and coordinating interviews for executive and hard-to-fill staff and faculty roles.
  • Advise and support hiring authorities, committees, and panels on best hiring practices and UF policies. Provide consultation and training as requested.
  • Build talent pipelines through relationship development, proactive outreach, and strategic networking.
  • Represent UF at career events and visibility-building activities and facilitate recruitment-focused presentations and sessions.
  • Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and social media to craft and implement compelling outreach strategies.
  • Lead or support initiatives within Talent Acquisition and Onboarding that advance strategic recruitment practices across campus, including coaching and advising activities.
