Bell & Evans, America’s oldest branded chicken company, seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting within a defined business segment. You will partner with HRBPs to proactively identify, attract, and secure talent, building pipelines and improving candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing or high-volume settings.
• Experience with ATS systems and data-driven recruiting.
• Knowledge of employment laws and hiring compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HRBPs and leaders to translate workforce plans into proactive recruiting strategies.
• Lead intake meetings, define success profiles, and ensure timely movement of candidates.
• Build pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles across production and leadership.
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador in the community.

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering full-cycle recruiting within a defined business segment, partnering closely with HRBPs and operational leaders to proactively identify, attract, and secure talent aligned with workforce plans. This role moves beyond transactional recruiting to focus on pipeline development, workforce strategy execution, and candidate experience excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Talent Partnership

• Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to understand workforce plans, turnover trends, and hiring forecasts
• Translate business needs into proactive recruiting strategies by function (production, technical, leadership)
• Participate in workforce planning discussions and hiring prioritization
• Manage requisitions from intake through offer acceptance
• Lead intake meetings to define success profiles and selection criteria
• Drive structured interview processes and selection consistency
• Ensure timely movement of candidates and requisition closure
• Build and maintain active pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
• Leverage multiple sourcing channels (Indeed, referrals, community outreach, trade schools, etc.)
• Production: high-volume, bilingual outreach, community partnerships
• Leadership: targeted sourcing, professional networking

4. Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

• Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience
• Serve as brand ambassador in the community and talent market
• Support hiring events, job fairs, and community engagement

5. Process & Compliance Excellence

• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and internal processes
• Maintain data integrity within ATS
• Support standardized hiring workflows and documentation
• Track and manage key metrics:
• Time-to-fill
• Quality of hire
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Support implementation of structured selection tools and assessments

7. Onboarding Partnership

• Partner with onboarding team to ensure seamless transition from offer to start
• Support early-stage retention through strong candidate alignment

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred (required for Production roles)
• 3+ years of recruiting experience (manufacturing or high-volume preferred)
• Experience supporting specialized recruitment (skilled trades or leadership roles preferred)
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience with ATS systems and data-driven recruiting
• Knowledge of employment laws and hiring compliance
