Job summary

Transdev is seeking a proactive Talent Development Specialist to join our Talent and Learning team. You will support programs across the employee lifecycle, shaping talent identification, development, and retention while promoting a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

You will coordinate performance management, support development initiatives, and collaborate with learning specialists and cross-functional teams to drive adaptivity and impact on organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• Familiarity with performance management best practices and systems (Cornerstone a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google products, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic improvements.
• Effective project management skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience documenting standard work processes.
• Flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate performance management processes: annual reviews, mid-year check-ins, and goal-setting cycles.
• Partner with HRIS and Communications to implement performance tools (e.g., Cornerstone OnDemand).
• Assist with system updates, timelines, and tracking in Cornerstone OnDemand.
• Maintain data integrity in talent management systems and improve processes and SOPs.
• Develop guides for SMART goal setting and feedback.
• Prepare executive reports and analytics on performance trends for leadership.

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Development Specialist to join our Talent and Learning team and support key programs across the employee lifecycle.

In this role, you will help shape how we identify, develop, and retain talent across the organization, supporting a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and career growth

This role plays an important part in coordinating performance management processes, supporting development initiatives. You’ll work across multiple topics, collaborate closely with learning specialists and other cross functional teammates, and step in to support projects as priorities shift—making adaptability and teamwork essential to success.

Annual Salary range $74,000-$92,000

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management

• Coordinate and monitor performance processes including Annual Reviews, Mid-Year Check-ins, and goal-setting cycles.
• Partner with HRIS and Communications to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of performance tools (e.g., Cornerstone OnDemand).
• Assist with system updates, timelines, and tracking using tools like Cornerstone OnDemand.
• Maintain data integrity within talent management systems and continuously improve talent management processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Develop scalable guides and resources for SMART goal setting and effective feedback.
• Develop executive-level reporting and analytics to monitor performance trends and completion metrics; deliver insights to inform leadership decisions.

Talent Review & Succession Planning

• Support preparation of materials for talent reviews and calibration discussions.
• Track review status and follow-up actions in coordination with HR Business Partners.
• Maintain accurate talent data and workflows within performance systems, driving accountability and process optimization.
• Prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing talent insights, succession readiness, and organizational capability.

Employee Development & Talent Planning Coordination

• Support the rollout and tracking of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) as a core component of employee growth and internal mobility.
• Support the design and implementation of new talent development programs, including mentoring or learning programs, in relation with the Training Specialist
• Organize employee development goals and activities for reporting or staffing discussions.
• Support managers with tools and resources for employee development and career planning.
• Facilitate virtual and in person development sessions.
• Support internal mobility and career development by maintaining robust succession plans and organizing, facilitating and documenting Staffing Committees.
• Coordinate logistics for talent related events, including scheduling and materials.
• Monitor participation, effectiveness, and outcomes of talent development initiatives and recommend continuous improvements.

Employee Lifecycle Insights & Retention

• Manage scheduling and documentation for exit interview program to gather actionable insights.
• Provide quarterly data-driven recommendations related to engagement, culture, and retention.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• Familiarity with performance management best practices and systems (experience with Cornerstone is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in HR, talent management, or organizational development.
• Experience in large-scale performance or talent management processes.
• Familiarity with SMART goal-setting frameworks and employee development planning.
• Professional certification in Human Resources, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Project Management, or Organizational Development is preferred.
