Job summary

City of Hialeah is seeking a Recruitment and Testing Specialist to manage pre-employment and promotional testing, recruitment activities, and records across municipal job classifications. You will proctor, score, and coordinate examinations while upholding city policies and bargaining agreements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business/public administration and at least three years of professional HR experience in a municipal setting, with strong communication and records management

• Solid understanding of recruitment and selection methods and policies.
• Ability to conduct effective interviews and communicate clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts personnel and civil service activities, surveys and studies.
• Prepares and administers pre-employment and promotional testing and examinations.
• Manages examination announcements, ads and candidate eligibility lists.
• Coordinates and schedules oral, written and performance examinations.
• Maintains confidential testing records and related documents.
