Barminco is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment across our operations in the United States and Canada. Based in Denver, this position offers a combination of remote and in-office work, with opportunities to travel to our mine sites and develop a firsthand understanding of our people and operations.
You will manage recruitment from initial sourcing through offer and pre-employment requirements, working closely with hiring managers and HR to recruit for mining, skilled trades, technical, supervisory, administrative, and corporate positions. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys finding candidates for challenging vacancies, and builds strong relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
This role combines office-based recruitment with time at our project sites. Site visits include orientations, underground training, and job observation to understand the roles being recruited. Activities may require walking on uneven terrain, climbing stairs and ladders, and accessing vehicles and equipment in environments with noise, dust, and variable temperatures. Employees must wear required personal protective equipment and follow all site safety and training requirements. Essential duties may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, including a post-offer physical assessment, drug screening, and background check, conducted in accordance with applicable law. A valid driver’s license and passport, along with the ability to travel to project locations in the United States and Canada, are required.
