The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage pre-employment processes, screenings, background checks, and onboarding coordination to support a diverse, high-performing workforce.
In this high-volume environment, you will screen applications, schedule interviews, and collaborate with recruiters and HR partners to ensure compliance and an engaging candidate experience across Mount Washington Campus.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for managing and coordinating the pre-employment processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient pre-onboarding experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will conduct background checks, verify references, coordinate pre-employment assessments, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Additionally, the Specialist will assist in reviewing applications, conducting initial screenings and assessing candidates’ qualifications.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a critical member of the Talent Acquisition team, to support the university's HR mission of attracting, developing, retaining, and engaging a high-performing workforce in support of excellence in the university's mission, while promoting diversity, equity, civility, and respect.
