About the Opportunity:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a full‑time temporary position anticipated to last approximately 3–6 months and will play a key role in supporting Pioneer’s current hiring needs and ensuring we have the talent needed to support the business. This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on recruiting role that partners closely with hiring managers throughout the entire hiring process—from defining the need and developing a sourcing strategy to interviewing, candidate selection, offers, and preboarding.

Success in this role requires more than finding great candidates. You’ll help drive the hiring process forward, working directly with managers to strengthen interviewing and selection practices, ensure candidates are evaluated consistently, and create an effective and positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, helping to confirm and define position requirements, understand team needs, develop recruiting strategies, and keep searches moving forward.

  • Provide hands‑on support to hiring managers during the interview and selection process, including interview preparation, developing effective interview questions, participating in interviews as needed, and helping managers evaluate candidates objectively.

  • Drive interview quality and accountability by ensuring interviewers are prepared, meaningful interview notes and feedback are captured, and hiring decisions are supported by clear evidence and consistent evaluation criteria.

  • Proactively build talent pipelines using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, direct sourcing, and other creative recruiting strategies.

  • Review resumes, conduct recruiter screens, and assess candidates for experience, skills, motivation, and overall alignment with the position and organization.

  • Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams to create a seamless, professional, and positive experience.

  • Administer and coordinate candidate assessments as appropriate to evaluate job‑related skills and capabilities.

  • Facilitate post‑interview discussions and help hiring managers translate interview feedback into thoughtful, well‑supported hiring decisions.

  • Extend job offers, support compensation discussions and negotiations, and maintain candidate engagement through acceptance and onboarding.

  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, interview feedback, and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, hiring‑manager effectiveness, candidate experience, and overall hiring outcomes.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to hiring managers on interviewing techniques, candidate evaluation, documentation, compliance, and recruiting best practices.

  • Ensure recruiting and selection practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, with demonstrated success managing multiple searches and partnering directly with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

  • Confidence working with and coaching hiring managers, including providing constructive feedback and helping managers improve interviewing and candidate evaluation practices.

  • A proactive, hands‑on approach and willingness to step into interviews, facilitate hiring discussions, follow up on feedback, and keep the recruiting process moving.

  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with the ability to distinguish between general impressions and job‑related evidence.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and productive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and searches simultaneously.

  • Working knowledge of recruiting technologies, applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office 365.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use recruiting data and metrics to identify opportunities and improve results.

  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and recruiting and selection best practices.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

  • High level of professionalism, judgment, confidentiality, and integrity when working with candidates, employees, and sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish or Vietnamese.

  • Experience using Greenhouse ATS.
