City of Raleigh seeks an organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage high-volume recruitment, pre-boarding, and onboarding across multiple departments. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers to post roles and ensure timely processes, with a focus on first-class customer service. Lead NeoGov training and support onboarding sessions for new hires.
The role emphasizes strong communication, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment within the City’s Telework Program.
Everything but traditional recruitment? You won’t be chasing purple squirrels and unicorns in this role. In this role, your goal is to make sure everyone is in the right place at the right time when it comes to hiring. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with colleagues and assigned departments to create job postings, advertise positions, screen, hire, preboard, and onboard candidates across various functional areas and locations. In addition, you will lead and support classroom training for hiring managers and support staff and facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires. Interactions with hiring departments and candidates requires exceptional communication, time management and organizational skills as well as experience with technology.

Typical Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree or 2 Years of College in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, or related field; 1 to 3 years' experience in human resources support, or a related field

Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted
