The role requires a bachelor’s degree and several years in full life cycle recruitment, with healthcare/research experience a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field and 4+ years’ related experience or equivalent combination.
  • 2+ years' experience in full life cycle talent acquisition is required.
  • Healthcare or clinical research recruitment experience is required.
  • Prior experience with physician recruitment is a plus.

Description

Alcanza is a growing multi-site, multi-phase clinical research company with a network of locations in AL, AZ, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, MO, NV, VA, SC, TN, TX and Puerto Rico. We have established a strong presence across Phase I-IV studies and several therapeutic areas including vaccine, neurology, dermatology, psychiatry, and general medicine. The Talent Acquisition Specialist drives the end-to-end talent acquisition process and shapes the organization’s workforce by executing proactive talent acquisition strategies that meet KPIs and align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the end-to-end talent acquisition process by serving as an advisor and partner to business leaders.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive recruitment strategies that begin with requisition approval, continue through the recruitment cycle, and extend through onboarding, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and workforce planning needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define critical role requirements and success profiles, leveraging market intelligence and data analytics to proactively source, attract, and engage top-tier talent. Oversee the candidate journey-including job postings, targeted sourcing, competency-based interviewing, offer negotiation, and seamless onboarding, while continuously optimizing processes to deliver an exceptional candidate experience and strengthen the organization’s competitive position in the talent marketplace.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders and managers to optimize the recruitment processes, and delivers a best-in-class candidate experience-ultimately driving the achievement of hiring goals, accelerating time-to-fill, and strengthening the company’s competitive position in the marketplace.
  • Communicate and liaise with managers, teams, agencies, and applicants in a timely and professional manner.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and market intelligence to identify, attract, and engage high-caliber candidates, ensuring a robust talent pipeline that supports both immediate hiring needs and long-term organizational growth.
  • Processes all internal and external applications, resumes, and transfer requests.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable provisions of federal and state labor laws. Ensure HR and Company policies are followed.
  • Assists with training managers and supervisors on HR policies, procedures and updates.
  • Monitors and reports on KPIs (Time to Fill, requisition stats, etc.), compiles data, prepares and distributes reports as requested.
  • Stay up to date with best practices, laws and emerging trends.
  • Employ strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to propose and implement risk mitigations.
  • Lead, participate, and/or present in team, management, client, and/or other meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field and 4 or more years’ related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years' experience in the area of full life cycle talent acquisition is required. Prior experience in healthcare or clinical research recruitment is required. Prior experience with physician recruitment is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft applications, email, web applications, and the ability to type proficiently (40+ wpm),
  • Must possess strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to work well independently, collaboratively, and professionally within a team environment, with clients and all stakeholders (internal & external), and with all levels within the organization.
  • Must be detail-oriented, possess a high degree of professionalism, integrity, dependability, respect of others, self-motivation, and exemplify a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner, and in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
