Job summary

AccordCare in New York, NY is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to source and recruit caring professionals for our community. You will build relationships with schools and organizations, screen resumes, and guide candidates through interviews and onboarding.

You will promote AccordCare as an employer of choice, organize job fairs, ensure records compliance, and collaborate with branch leadership to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a recruiter or in talent acquisition.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
• Experience with HR databases and applicant tracking systems.
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy (MS Office).
• Ability to organize recruitment events like job fairs.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & recruiting candidates by building relationships with community organizations and schools.
• Screening resumes and conducting interviews to identify the best candidates.
• Preparing and posting job advertisements online and within the community.
• Facilitating orientation and onboarding for new hires.
• Promoting AccordCare as an employer of choice in the local market.
• Organizing and participating in job fairs and presentations.
• Maintaining personnel records and ensuring audits readiness.
• Collaborating with branch leadership and internal teams to meet staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
