Job summary

Allegiant Air in New York is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit top talent and build strong relationships with local schools and community organizations. You will manage screening, interviews, job postings, and onboarding to ensure a smooth start for new hires.

The ideal candidate brings proven recruiting experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a recruiter or in talent acquisition.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Experience with HR databases and applicant tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and computer literacy (MS Office).
• Ability to organize recruitment events like job fairs.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates by building relationships with community organizations and schools.
• Screen resumes and conduct interviews to identify best candidates.
• Prepare and post job advertisements online and in the community.
• Facilitate orientation and onboarding for new hires.
• Promote our culture and employer of choice in the local market.
• Organize and participate in job fairs and presentations.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure audits readiness.
• Collaborate with branch leadership and internal teams to meet staffing needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Sourcing & recruiting candidates by building strong relationships with community organizations and schools.
• Screening resumes and conducting interviews to identify the best candidates.
• Preparing and posting job advertisements online and within the community.
• Facilitating orientation and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
