Job summary

Kodiak Labor Solutions is partnering with a growing construction organization to recruit an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on salaried construction professionals. This role manages full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through onboarding and collaborates with hiring leaders to align staffing with project needs.

Hybrid work arrangement requires 3 days in office in High Point, NC or Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for construction industry professionals.
• Experience recruiting salaried construction roles (PM, estimating, operations, field leadership).
• Strong experience sourcing passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter and similar platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for salaried construction positions across PM, operations, and field leadership.
• Recruit for roles including Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents, and other construction roles.

Location: High Point, NC / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000 base salary + uncapped commission

Kodiak Labor Solutions is partnering with a growing construction organization seeking an experienced MEP -Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit top-tier salaried professionals across commercial, industrial, and specialty construction operations.

This is not a transactional recruiting role. We're looking for someone who understands the construction industry, knows where to find exceptional talent, and thrives on proactively sourcing and recruiting professionals who keep projects moving—from preconstruction through project completion.

You’ll partner directly with hiring leaders to develop recruiting strategies, build talent pipelines, and deliver high-quality candidates for critical operational and leadership positions

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for salaried construction positions across project management, operations, and field leadership.
• Recruit for roles including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Estimators, Superintendents, Safety Managers, Operations Managers, VDC/BIM professionals, Purchasing, and other construction support positions.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networking, referrals, trade associations, and targeted outreach.
• Build and maintain relationships with passive construction professionals across multiple markets.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand project staffing needs, organizational growth plans, and succession strategies.
• Manage candidate pipelines from sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Provide market intelligence, salary trends, and competitive hiring insights to hiring leaders.
• Maintain recruiting metrics while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
• Represent the organization professionally within the construction talent market and strengthen employer branding.

WHAT WILL CATCH OUR EYES:

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting construction industry professionals.
• Demonstrated success recruiting salaried construction positions, including project management, estimating, operations, or field leadership roles.
• Strong experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative recruiting skills.
• Ability to work a 3 DAYS IN OFFICE in High Point, NC or Charlotte, NC

BONUS IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Agency recruiting experience supporting commercial, industrial, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, civil, or specialty contractors.
• Experience recruiting for ENR contractors or construction service organizations.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms, CRM tools, and advanced sourcing techniques.
• Knowledge of construction organizational structures and career paths.
