Phoenix Defense, LLC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with HR and hiring managers to attract, recruit, onboard, and retain talent across technical, manufacturing and corporate roles. This onsite role emphasizes high-volume full lifecycle recruitment, onboarding facilitation, and building diverse candidate pipelines.

You will collaborate on interview processes, screening improvements, and internship program development, while partnering with colleges and staffing agencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2–5 years of recruiting experience, including high-volume recruiting.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of ATS and MS Office; ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle recruitment and onboarding for technical, manufacturing, engineering and corporate roles.
  • Develop and promote employer branding and candidate attraction strategies.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define required skills and roles.
  • Coordinate interview processes and provide feedback to improve screening.
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation and onboarding resources.

Job description

TheTalent Acquisition Specialistwill workclosely with the HR team and hiring managers tofacilitatethe successfulemployer branding/attraction, recruitment,onboarding,and retention of new team members.TheTalent Acquisition Specialistwillbe responsible forrecruiting and outreacheffortsacross the organization.This position will be assigned to projects or tasks in alignment with the company’s Human Resources strategy.The role will report to theVP/Director of HR.

This position is full-time and onsite and requires regular in-person attendance at the assigned Phoenix Defense location.

ESSENTIALDUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive and influencePhoenix Defense employer branding and candidate attraction practices.
  • High volume full lifecycle of recruitmentand pre-employment onboardingfor a variety of technical, manufacturing, engineering, and corporate positions, including but not limited to Assemblers, CNC Machinists, Software Engineers, and corporate and technical roles.
  • Work with hiring managers to define required skills and behaviors, current and future positions.
  • Helpfacilitateinterview and feedback processes, driving tools that elevate technical screening processes.
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation, providing new hires with a welcoming and informative introduction to Phoenix Defense, company policies, benefits, and resources.
  • Build strong, diverse pipelines of quality talent for various positions across the organization.
  • Continuously and proactively advance processes for candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with the development and administration of the company’s internship program.
  • Cultivates relationships with staffing agencies, colleges,universities, and other targeted outreach organizations to ensure a diverse pipeline of candidates.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degreein related technical and/or human resources fieldpreferred.
  • 2-5years of recruiting experience, with prior experience inhigh volume recruiting or staffingrequired.
  • Excellent interpersonaland customer serviceskills.
  • Possess strong administrative,planningand organizational skills.
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and skills.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as wellas applicablepolicies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,ABILITIES,AND OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS:
  • Experience recruiting across a variety of functions, including manufacturing, engineering, technical, corporate, and military/veteran talent, is highly preferred.
  • Military or veteran background and knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD); veterans and transitioning service members are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD)SkillBridgeProgram and its requirements and processes preferred.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and willingness to support team and organizational priorities.
  • Ability tomaintainahighlevelof confidentiality.
  • Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic,good communicationand critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
