JT THORPE Group, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition specialist to build and maintain a robust pipeline for engineering, project management, and administrative roles. You will own the full lifecycle of recruiting, from sourcing to onboarding, and partner with stakeholders to deliver top talent.

You’ll continually learn about our business to refine recruiting strategies, craft compelling job descriptions, and contribute to employer branding and social media presence across platforms.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to support current and future business demands.
• Perform full lifecycle recruiting for hard to fill, niche positions, including sourcing, screening, candidate identification, selection, negotiating, hiring, and onboarding for current and future talent, which generally includes roles such as engineer, project manager, estimator, business development, administrative, and corporate.
• Continually learn and understand our business and industry to improve talent acquisition efforts.
• Assist in creating effective job descriptions that attract top talent.
• Assist in managing online social media and brand awareness related to talent.
• Attend career fairs, build university relationships, and oversee the intern program.
• Continually stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques for attracting top talent.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in full life cycle recruiting.
• Staffing/Agency background preferred, not required.
• At least 1 year of recruiting experience in industries and/or positions similar to JT THORPE.
• Experience with doing searches using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake and other social media and job board sites.
• Experience in sourcing talent across various platforms.
• Has passion for finding the right fit with excellent judgement and an eye for talent.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Understands employment laws related to selection and hiring of talent.
• Understands the importance talent acquisition and its impact on brand integrity.
• A high bar across the board - from your own contributions, to the people you work with, to the requisitions you work on.
• A “driver” personality - biased toward action - constantly pushing to be the best.
• Ability to self-structure (independence is key to this job, and therefore organization, strong time management and multi-tasking is required).
• Hard working, conscientious self-starter, who is looking to build a long–term career with our company.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communications, or other relevant discipline.
