Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. in Graham, Kentucky, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter specializing in Defense & Energetics for a hybrid role with 2 days remote and 3 days in the Graham office. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, build pipelines, and partner with local organizations to support the plant launch and future growth.

You will source top talent, conduct screens and interviews, assist with offers, and promote strong safety and culture values across the recruiting process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications, or related field.
• 3+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing or defense preferred.
• Self-driven and proactive with strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop creative sourcing strategies and pipelines.
• Ability to build relationships with local organizations, schools and community groups.
• Experience with recruitment processes and ATS (Taleo preferred).

What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter - Defense & Energetics, you will play a critical role in staffing Dyno Nobel's new state-of-the-art TNT manufacturing facility in Graham, Kentucky. You will be responsible for recruiting top talent through strategic sourcing, relationship building, and effective selection strategies while helping establish the workforce that will support the successful launch of the new plant and any future defense or energetics growth. Other duties include:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions
• Proactively source active talent in areas of need - filling roles on-time to prevent any disruptions
• Conduct phone screens and preliminary interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and alignment with Dyno Nobel's culture and safety-first values.
• Assist management with internal and external recruitment efforts, including requisition approvals, internal postings, external recruiting, interviewing, candidate selection, and job offers.
• Partner with hiring managers, community organizations, and educational institutions to build talent pipelines, increase awareness of employment opportunities, and support hiring initiatives for the new facility.
• Represent Dyno Nobel at career fairs, hiring events, community outreach initiatives, and networking opportunities to promote employment opportunities and strengthen the company's presence in local communities. .
• Strategic sourcing by leveraging online tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. while delivering on key metrics.
• Identify new sourcing channels and maintain relationships with job boards, networking organizations, and recruiting partners to expand candidate pipelines Conduct preliminary interviews of qualified candidates to determine fit/match for open requisitions.
• Coordinate candidate interviews, travel arrangements, and communication throughout the recruitment process

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of recruiting experience - manufacturing or defense experience preferred but not required
• Self driven and proactive
• Proven ability to develop creative sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines through networking, community outreach, and innovative recruiting methods.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with nearby organizations, schools, and other community groups
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
• Past recruitment and ATS experience required -Taleo preferred
