Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Project Intern to join the Corporate Function TA Team in Los Angeles. You’ll support the full recruiting lifecycle for Product and Design, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to impactful projects in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll receive mentorship, exposure to high-impact recruiting programs, and hands-on practice in candidate outreach and stakeholder collaboration, with day-one benefits and growth opportunities.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
• Interest in recruiting, talent strategy, people operations, or HR.

Responsibilities

• Support the full recruiting lifecycle across Product and Design roles—including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate pipelines.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role needs and market talent profiles.
• Assist with sourcing efforts (LinkedIn Recruiter, resume databases, referrals, event leads, etc.) and engage prospective candidates with compelling outreach.
• Help manage candidate communication to ensure a seamless, positive experience.
• Assist with recruiting operations, including opening requisitions, creating job postings, and updating interview notes and candidate status in our ATS.
• Participate in weekly pipeline reviews, talent strategy syncs, and project-based work.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation across candidate experience, interviewer calibration, and recruiting workflows.
• Support employer branding initiatives, campus engagement, or talent market research as assigned.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Talent Operations, and business partners across different time zones.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
