The Talent Acquisition Partner / Recruiter screens, recruits, and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies. Coordinates necessary steps and information to hire applicants. The Recruiter takes a proactive role in filling job vacancies and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency. Consults with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates. Maintains effective relationships with internal staff and external agencies. Stays updated on HR practices. Utilizes SAP and other databases for research, applicant tracking, and new hire processing. Models appropriate behavior aligned with MLH Mission, Vision, and Values.

A Brief Overview

The Recruiter II screens, recruits, and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies. Coordinates necessary steps and information to hire applicants. Takes a proactive approach in filling vacancies with a strong sense of urgency. Consults with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates. Maintains effective relationships with internal staff and external agencies. Stays updated on HR practices. Uses SAP and other databases for research, applicant tracking, and new hire processing. Models behaviors consistent with MLH Mission, Vision, and Values.

What you will do
  • Recruits, interviews, and refers qualified applicants (internal and external) for posted positions.
  • Counsels current and prospective associates regarding employment procedures and activities.
  • Compiles and reports confidential and statistical data.
  • Supports and facilitates adherence to system and department policies, procedures, and standards; provides input for budget planning.
Education/Formal Training Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
Work Experience Requirements
  • 3-5 years in Human Resources
  • 3-5 years in Recruitment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven success in proactive recruiting approaches
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to plan and manage projects effectively
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external clients
  • Knowledge of diverse sourcing techniques
  • Ability to collaborate with clients to develop services and products
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Negotiation skills
Supervision Provided by this Position
  • No supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Activities may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions.
  • Must have good balance and coordination.
  • Physical requirements: light work, exerting up to 25 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs. frequently.
  • Requires close visual acuity for data analysis, reading, and computer work.
  • Work environment: typical office conditions, minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
