Maryland Judiciary Salary Scales 2026
As a state employee, you may be required to file an annual Financial Disclosure with the State Ethics Commission. If you are required to file, you will be notified by the Judiciary Human Resources Division and must file within 30 days of employment and no later than April 30th of each subsequent calendar year.
This is professional human resources work in the specialized area of talent acquisition. Full performance level of work ensuring appropriate and consistent Statewide interpretation of and compliance with personnel laws, regulations, and standards within the Maryland Judiciary. Functions within the Judiciary Human Resources Division as a technical expert in acquisition. Provides direction and guidance to personnel staff of the Courts and Units but does not supervise. Counsels managers, supervisors, employees, and applicants on personnel policy, procedures, and practices. Performs the full range of duties under general supervision from the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition. Will require travel throughout Maryland to perform on-site visits at Courts and Units. Will also require participation in talent acquisition job fairs. Attends community events both in and out of the state.
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Three (3) years of professional human resources experience in the area of talent acquisition.
Note: Professional human resources work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
