Job summary

Happy Floors is seeking a detail-oriented Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist to oversee the full employee lifecycle from sourcing to in-role success. The role builds candidate pipelines and designs onboarding experiences that set new hires up for long-term success.

The ideal candidate will partner with managers to understand staffing needs, source via multiple channels, screen for fit, and manage onboarding with a focus on a smooth transition and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or onboarding coordination.
• Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and onboarding cases.
• Understanding of employment laws (EEO, I-9).

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define roles and hiring plans.
• Source candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and social media.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews for fit.
• Coordinate interviews and track candidate progress in ATS.
• Design and improve onboarding programs and experiences.
• Ensure onboarding tasks (I-9, background checks) compliance.
