Job summary

Sundt Construction in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the TA team, shape strategies, and align recruiting with business needs.

You will coach, develop and supervise the team, manage budgets, oversee job advertising, ensure compliance with EEO/OFCCP, and build strong cross-functional relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 10+ years in talent acquisition/recruiting.
  • Proven success filling requisitions at all levels across multiple industries (Construction, Marketing, HR, IT, etc.).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking and CRM systems.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of building and supervising at least one high performing team.
  • Superb collaboration, influencing and team development.
  • Working knowledge of technical and behavioral based interviewing techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct development plans and annual goal setting with team members.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with all customers and Sundt support groups.
  • Ensures recruiting processes align with current and future workforce needs.
  • Assist with coaching, training and support around talent acquisition best practices.
  • Identify and communicate recruitment process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the daily work flow and recruitment activities for the talent acquisition team.
  • Manage annual talent acquisition budget.
  • Mentor, train and develop the talent acquisition team while providing hands on recruitment assistance as needed.
  • Oversee all recruitment employment advertising (Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
  • Understand, monitor, and maintain compliance with EEO and OFCCP regulations and internal policies.

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager provides leadership, vision and guidance to the talent acquisition team, manages day to day activities and develops talent acquisition strategies.

Minimum Job Requirements

  3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
