Talent Intelligence & Recruiting Coordinator
About the Opportunity

A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Talent Intelligence & Recruiting Coordinator to support strategic attorney recruiting initiatives through market intelligence, research, reporting, candidate coordination, and process management. This position will play a key role in identifying talent opportunities, monitoring market trends, supporting candidate engagement, and helping advance the firm’s long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Market Intelligence
  • Conduct market and competitive intelligence research to identify prospective attorney talent, target firms, practice groups, and emerging industry trends.
  • Utilise industry research platforms and databases to develop talent maps, target lists, and competitive intelligence reports.
  • Monitor attorney movement, law firm growth initiatives, and broader market developments to identify strategic recruiting opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and analyses to support recruiting strategy and hiring initiatives.
  • Maintain talent mapping databases, research resources, and reporting tools to support current and future searches.
  • Assist with strategic projects and ad hoc research assignments.
Recruitment Coordination
  • Coordinate all aspects of the attorney interview process, including scheduling, candidate communications, preparing interview itineraries, and managing logistics.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Gather and track interview feedback and assist with follow-up communications.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records and candidate status updates within recruitment systems.
  • Work closely with recruiting leadership, candidates, and search firms to facilitate an efficient hiring process.
  • Coordinate search firm meetings, maintain attendance records, and document key meeting outcomes.
  • Provide support across broader attorney recruiting initiatives as needed.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesise complex information into actionable insights.
  • Ability to gather, organise, analyse, and present market intelligence and competitive data in a clear and meaningful manner.
  • Knowledge of legal recruiting, law firm structures, attorney talent markets, and industry trends preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, market research, analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with research and business intelligence platforms, such as legal market databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, and similar tools, is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
  • Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
Additional Information
  • Location: Northern New Jersey (Hybrid)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Travel: Occasional travel to other offices may be required
  • Compensation: Approximately $70,000-$80,000 base salary, dependent on experience
