Job Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will manage a team to fill vacant positions with high-quality candidates to allow the organization to effectively fulfill our mission. Hold team accountable for production, quality and efficiency. Manage the entire talent acquisition process through oversight of team and partnership with hiring leaders. Act as liaison with Vice Presidents and their teams to ensure proactive recruitment activities. Provide proactive reporting and internal customer service. Communicate future needs and recommendations to senior leadership. This position also actively recruits and carries a requisition load primarily of leadership openings. Manage and perform functions to screen, interview, and recruit job candidates within a specified region, guided by precedent and working within established policies.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage and implement recruiting strategies to identify top applicants for open positions. Source and screen candidates, review resumes, schedule and conduct interviews, present candidates to hiring managers and make recommendations.
  • Coach and develop team members to effectively acquire top talent. Hold team accountable for recruiting goals.
  • Partner with regional and operational leadership to forecast staffing needs, identify upcoming talent gaps, and develop proactive recruiting plans that support business objectives, property transitions, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Communicate and manage relationships with internal leadership. Proactively provide key metrics report. Meet with leadership to discuss upcoming company needs and develop recruitment plan.
  • Manage requisitions, database of candidates, job postings and status reports in tracking system.
  • Develop, manage and implement standard operating procedures for the talent acquisition process. Educate team and hiring leaders on those processes. Seek feedback and recommendations to continuously improve processes.
  • Generate and extend offers to candidates and make appropriate data entry into system for new hires.
  • Ensure adherence to all equal employment opportunity (EEO) legislation, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other government compliance requirements. Maintain necessary files covering applications, interviews, and testing procedures.
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related fields from an accredited college or university, and at least five years of recruiting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous leadership experience preferred. Previous experience properly handling staffing and employment issues.

  • Must have experience using conventional, internet and alternative sourcing techniques, including but not limited to, cold calling, proactive database searches, web mining and referral generation.
  • Proven track record in developing a passive candidate pipeline.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interviewing and assessment skills.
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. High proficiency researching the Internet.
  • Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self-driven.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and judgment and decision making abilities.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
Physical Requirements

This position works under usual office conditions. The associate is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervise a unit of Talent Acquisition Partners.

Travel

Work involves driving/traveling to assigned properties and other locations for recruiting or networking events.
