Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager in Irving, TX to lead and coach a top-tier recruiting team.

You will develop strategies aligned with Power & Energy business needs, partner with HR and leaders, and drive sourcing, candidate engagement, and end-to-end recruitment excellence across North America. You will oversee pipeline development, leverage ATS/CRM systems, and apply analytics to improve speed, quality, and hiring outcomes, while ensuring an exceptional candidate

Qualifications

  • Experience leading and developing recruiting teams in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, sourcing strategy, and recruiting operations.
  • Ability to partner with senior leaders and deliver results through trust and collaboration.
  • Experience with pipelining, passive sourcing for engineering/energy talent.
  • Proven success in high-volume hiring across multiple regions.
  • Experience using ATS, CRM, and analytics to drive improvements.

This is an opportunity to shape the talent strategies behind some of the most critical energy solutions in the world, while developing teams and leaders who will build the future.**What You'll Do*** Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.* Develop and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business growth plans, workforce needs, and critical talent priorities across the Oil & Gas and Marine Division.* Partner with HR and business leaders to anticipate hiring demands, provide talent market insights, and advise on workforce planning strategies.* Drive best‐in‐class pipelining, passive sourcing, and candidate activation strategies for hard‐to‐fill and highly specialized roles, leveraging advanced sourcing techniques, digital tools, and external networks.* Champion modern recruiting practices and technology‐enabled workflows, including ATS optimization, CRM usage, automation, and assessment strategies to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience.* Leverage workforce analytics, recruiting metrics, and market intelligence to evaluate performance, identify trends, and guide decision-making.* Ensure a consistent and high‐quality candidate and hiring manager experience across the end‐to‐end recruiting lifecycle.**What You'll Bring*** Proven experience leading and developing high‐performing recruiting teams in a complex, matrixed environment.* Strong expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, sourcing strategy, and recruiting operations.* Strong influencing skills with the ability to partner credibly with senior leaders and deliver results through trust and collaboration.* Deep expertise in pipelining, passive sourcing, and candidate engagement, particularly for engineering, technical, or energy‐related talent markets.* Demonstrated success leading complex, high-volume hiring initiatives across multiple regions, partnering with stakeholders to achieve critical workforce goals.* Demonstrated ability to leverage recruiting technology (ATS, CRM, sourcing tools, automation, reporting) to drive process improvement and scalability.* Strong command of recruiting analytics, metrics, and workforce data to inform decision‐making and measure success.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, energy, industrial, or technology-focused organizations.* Experience hiring technical, engineering, operations, or commercial talent.* Experience working within a large, global, matrixed enterprise.**Additional Info**:* This position will be located in Irving, TX* This role requires 5 days a week in office* Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify* Sponsorship is **not** available**What You Will Get:*** Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
