NEFCO is a family-operated construction supply distributor with 85+ locations nationwide, currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support growth across Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, and Corporate functions. You will own full-cycle recruiting, build pipelines, and partner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs in a fast-paced environment.

You will help drive recruiting strategies, manage candidate communication, and promote a positive candidate experience while supporting branch

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required; staffing agency experience preferred.
• Proven success proactively sourcing and recruiting active and passive candidates.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience across multiple geographic markets supporting locations/regions.
• Previous recruiting experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, construction supply, or related industries preferred.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Applicant Tracking Systems; Paylocity experience preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to assess candidate qualifications, influence hiring decisions, and effectively manage hiring manager expectations.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency, accountability, and ability to independently manage recruiting priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Working knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple locations and functions.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define requirements and strategies.
• Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals and networking.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future needs.
• Screen applications, conduct phone screens and interviews.
• Coordinate interviews and provide timely feedback.
• Facilitate offers, background checks, and onboarding requirements.
• Maintain recruiting data in Paylocity and report on metrics.
• Support branch openings and workforce planning initiatives.
• Represent NEFCO at career fairs and recruiting events.
• Identify process improvements and ensure policy compliance.
