About Us
Premium Merchant Funding (PMF) is one of the nation's leading providers of working capital solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. From our headquarters in New York City's Financial District, we've built a high-performance sales organization with teams across the country and a recruiting operation to match — including a summer program that engages over 350 interns annually. We're growing, and we're looking for a recruiting professional who wants to take full ownership of that growth.
The Role
This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiting role for someone with the experience to recognize strong recruiting — and the initiative to take full ownership of delivering it. You'll manage the end-to-end recruiting and engagement process for a dedicated group of our sales teams, building genuine relationships with team leaders who have high standards and rely on a recruiting partner who understands their culture and earns their trust over time.
Team leaders at PMF are sales leaders, not traditional hiring managers. They meet with candidates to assess fit and, when the right candidate needs a final nudge, help close them. Your job is to get the right people to that point — running a smart, high-volume pipeline and bringing candidates forward who are genuinely worth their time.
The candidates you'll be engaging are commission-based sales representatives — driven, ambitious people motivated by unlimited upside. Identifying that profile and presenting the opportunity with conviction requires instinct, persistence, and a genuine understanding of what makes someone succeed in a performance-based environment. You'll also take point on employee-level searches across operations and support functions as needs arise, bringing the same rigor to a more traditional search process.
We're looking for someone who sees obstacles as problems to solve. If something isn't working, we expect you to diagnose it and drive the fix — not wait to be told how. This role has meaningful latitude for someone prepared to use it.
