Job summary

Children & Families of Iowa is seeking an experienced HR Generalist – Recruiting to attract and hire professionals passionate about making a difference. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, partner with managers on hiring strategies, source and interview candidates, and represent CFI at career fairs and community events.

The role includes onboarding coordination, HR duties, and monitoring recruiting metrics to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Three+ years of recruiting and/or HR experience.
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Experience managing multiple openings simultaneously.
Passion for supporting a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle recruitment for positions across the organization.
Partner with managers to develop hiring strategies and fill critical roles.
Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidate selection.
Represent CFI at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities.
Manage onboarding processes and support a positive new hire experience.
Assist with general HR duties, HR initiatives, and compliance activities.
Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes.
